Funeral Sheath

In biblical times flowers were picked on the morning of the funeral gathered into a bunch and tied together. Flowers, evergreens and herbs were all chosen for their significant meanings. A sheath may be placed on top of the coffin or a number of sheaves may be used to create ‘a casket spray’.
